Family Fun at Jervis Bay – The Husky Bakery + Cafe

This is one of my family’s favourite breakfast, brunch or lunch spots in the lovely little village of Huskisson.

The Husky Bakery delights not just for its playground – hooray!- but also it’s great food and spacious covered outdoors seating area.

The Husky Bakery + Cafe

11 Currambene Street, Huskisson

This is such a lovely and relaxed cafe, there’s heaps of space, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is plentiful and good.

In fact, the breakfasts are so humungous that we never order one each any more, except for our Giant Teenager who can polish off a whole breakfast and thens tart nibbling away at our leftovers.

Intn’l MoM is delighted by their veggie breakfasts too.

The bakery sells lovely pies, which are good for lunch, plus a huge range of cakes, buns, slices and other decadences.

Now that my little ones are not so little, they play happily in the playground at the back of the cafe’s covered open space.  The Intn’l MoM and I have managed to read whole articles in the paper before having to go in there to break up fights, stop them trying to fly off the top etc etc

You can find a map on Google here.

We’re regular visitors, so hope to catch you there one day!

I looked at the map and saw you’re south of Sydney. I really want to visit Australia. I even want to move to Australia with my husband. How old are your children now? I followed you from Annabel’s as I know she designed your website. If you come over and visit me, I’d love it if you participated in my writing contest called, “My Gutsy Story.” Please share with your writer/blogger friends as it would be interesting to read stories from Australia as well as Europe, Africa and the U.S. Sonia.
